I'M STILL HERE

It's been a long time since I've done a post. My apologies to the small faithful who keep checking on me. I haven't gone away and I'm not abandoning my blog. I love to write and I've had many things swirling around in my head over these past couple months but not enough time to really chew on them and put together a post that I'm happy with. I started something in August but never finished and here it is October already. Wow! I am planning to try to set aside more time for blogging in the near future. For now let me just list some things I've been doing and thinking about~

*We went to Disney a couple weeks ago and really had a blast! Pictures may be coming?!
*My husband and I have started going to Financial Peace University. Click the link if you're curious!
*I've been thinking a lot about seeking out likeminded friends, churches, etc. Is it good or bad or even realistic?
*I've been reading a bunch of books. Everything from Tired of Trying to Measure Up by Jeff VanVonderen to A Woman in Charge by Carl Bernstein. I'm even psyching myself up to attempt Jonathan Edwards' Freedom of the Will (or is it Bondage of the Will?)

These are some things I plan to write on. I haven't had time to visit many blogs at all so I hope I haven't offended anybody by not visiting. Have a great Saturday and leave me a message if you like. Blessings!

My goodness, I nearly swallowed my tongue gasping as I saw your new post! ;)
Did you get my email telling about friends over there...starting a church and all? I can't help but smile to think that you and Jeni could get to know each other. *sigh* Good friends are so precious.
Suppose it's my turn to update..although our computer is a bit wheezy, so we'll see.
The kids and I were just talking about Resolves and Jonathan Edwards from a chapter in A Hive of Busy Bees, the 2nd one.
God bless~

Hello Meredith!
It is so good to see you posting! I can fully understand not having the time for blogging. :-) I have posted very sporadically, but like you, I enjoy writing but want my posts to have something worth reading.
I hope that you will have more time to write I'm looking forward to seeing what the Lord has been stirring up in your heart and mind.
Blessings!
Karen (from NY!) :-)
