AN OPEN INVITATION
Calling all you brave homeschoolers out there! Karen, Roberta and I have been talking in the comments section about doing concurrent blog posts about a day in the life of our homeschool. We would all choose the same day and then blog about what happened. It doesn't have to be minute by minute analysis but an honest chronicle of your day. Make sure to include all the unexpected things that happen too! The goal for this experiment is encouragement not comparison and envy. Hopefully, by seeing how others structure their day, we can all get some new ideas and fresh perspective. After all, haven't you ever secretly wished to be a fly on the wall in someone else's homeschool?
So...I thought next Wednesday, April 12th would be a good choice. I know that's after Karen's due date but maybe she can hold on until then *grin*! I don't know how we could inform everyone of all the blog posts that day. I'm not too tech savy. I welcome any and all suggestions.

Sounds great Meredith. Maybe I'll copy and paste your post to my blog. As for a list of all involved...how about they leave a comment in your box and you can do a separate post or edit the bottom of yours to link to them. Clear as mud? ;)

Okay, count me in as tentative, and if baby arrives (and we're only studying Baby Diapers 101), then I'll try to initiate another Homeschool Blogging day in the future, okay?

just to clarify are we chronicling April 12th and posting that eve or next day, or are we posting on April 12th about a previous day? Not to be too complicated. :)
We are blogging about April 12th. You can do a live blog or you can write what happened that day later in the evening. Does that make sense?
