HAVE YOU HEARD OF THIS?

There is a new book out there called The Fair Tax Book by Atlanta talk radio guy Neal Boortz and Georgia congressman John Linder. John Linder has been tenacious in his fight to implement this simple plan which will, among other things, abolish the IRS and implement an across the board tax on consumption. We here in Atlanta have been hearing about this for a while now. John Linder has been a good congressman and has been gaining more and more support, albeit slowly, for his bill which has 30+ co-sponsors. Neal Boortz is a libertarian. I try not to listen to him too much because his show is filled with cynical rantings and flippant commentary about abortion and Christianity.

Anyway, I've not heard one negative objection to this idea that Linder and Boortz haven't countered. It seems too good to be true. Here's to hoping the grass roots support will grow.
